Welcome to SPAN-GA

Suicide Prevention Action Network – Georgia, is a 501C(3) organization created in 2003 to reduce completed and attempted suicide in Georgia. Its focus is on creating public awareness and public/political will to provide resources to implement the Georgia State Suicide Prevention Plan. SPAN-GA empowers survivors of completed suicides, attempters of suicide, and supporters of suicide prevention to become actively involved in educating private and public citizens to the emotional and financial costs of suicide in Georgia. SPAN-GA succeeds SPAN USA, which moved to Washington D.C. in 2003.
